YAY!!! This is going to be fun 🙂
I had a great Christmas holiday. In fact 2011 was a good year. Challenging with family issues (illness and death) but OVERALL good.
I’m excited to see what the new year is going to bring. I don’t really get into making resolutions, but if I were going to do it for 2012, my resolution would be to “Stop Planning to…and Just Do It”.
I’ve wanted to try so many things throughout my entire adulthood, and like a lot of people…I’ve thought of a hundred excuses to put them off. Continue Reading
Naturally, I’ve bcome more and more fascinated with the world, the art of photography every day. I’ve been looking for the right books, checking out other pages, etc.
This morning, as I was surfing through my Facebook newsfeed, I came across a post from a photographer who had taken some professional headshots of me a couple of years ago. A shared link from a woman named Sue Bryce, a 21 year professional photographer.
I’ve gotta say…I’m starting to become one of the stats. LoL. Enjoy!

I received my camera for my birthday, which was in August, and it’s been glued to my neck since then (on it’s strap). I’ve taken pictures of everything in my sight. I’ve gone outside and snapped in the back yard, the front yard, the park, the street, at the store, in the car, on the bus… well you get the idea. I’ve hunted around my house for subjects (yes, my family hides from me) and I’ve taken pictures of chairs, tables, shoes, shirts, pants, glasses, bowls, food on the stove, food in the fridge, food on the table… Weird obession? No. I’m just trying to take good pictures. Continue Reading
Welcome to my blog, and thank you for stopping by!
I’m 39 years old. Married with 4 children. We’re a blended family. My husband has a son (20) in college, and a daughter (18) in her senior year of high school. I have two daughters (20) and (16).
I’ve been wandering around for the past year trying to decide what to do with my life, and I created this blog in hopes that my interest in media, and arts & crafts will somehow be a gateway for me to figure out in which direction I’d like to go. Continue Reading
I’ve only recently started to explore the world of photography, and I’m learning quickly that great photography it’s not as simple as “point and shoot”. In my effort to learn and “grow in my understanding of photography”, I’ve gone to a several websites that offer tutorials for beginners, many of which are quite informative and resourceful. I have to say that I’m quickly becoming very fond of one spot in particular. That is “Digital Photography School” This is NOT an advertisement. I simply want to give credit where it’s due.
I think I have a long way to go before I can say that I shoot at professional level. Time will certainly tell. Continue Reading
